Outlook App (Apple)

Outlook App (Apple)

Outlook App (Apple)

This is the most supported way to get email on your phone.  One issue may be your contacts.  If you have all your contacts in Woodhouse email, and your phone is using these contacts, your phone will no longer see the contact when resolving phone numbers to name in your text and recent calls history.

If you wish to use the Outlook app and have contacts integrated with your phone you will need to either enter your contacts into your phone apart from your Woodhouse mailbox or add the contacts to the native mail app on your phone.  We will cover this later.

  • Download the Outlook App from the App Store

  • Open the App and enter your @Woodhouse.com email address and click “Add Account”

  • Click “Maybe Later” to Would you like to add another account? (Unless you manage multiple email boxes).

  • You will be asked if you would like to “Enable Notifications”.  This is your choice.

Create Your Signature - You will need to create a signature for the Outlook app.

  • Tap the screen in the top left corner by “Inbox”

  • Tap the Setting symbol in the bottom left corner

  • Tap the “Signature” Option

  • Remove the default that says” Get Outlook for IOS” and replace it with your Woodhouse approved signature.

  • Tip: go to your sent items and copy a signature from one of your previous emails or copy a co-workers signature and paste it into this screen.

  • Click the “<” back arrow when you are done.
