Distribution List: Don't Follow in Inbox
Microsoft Teams acts like a distribution list. Each team has an email address associated with it. If an email is sent to your Team, it will also send that email to your inbox. You can turn this on/off by selecting the group icon in the left navigation of Outlook Web. Select the Setting option (gear icon) under the menu buttons. On the Right you will see your options. "Don't receive any group messages" will turn off receiving these emails in your inbox. All emails sent to the Team will always remain in the Team inbox so you cam always look in the Team mailbox for any messages.
