Steps to Set the Default Dialer App in Windows 10

  1. Open Settings:

    • Press Windows + I to open the Settings window.

  2. Go to Default Apps:

    • Navigate to Apps > Default apps.

  3. Scroll Down to “Choose default apps by protocol”:

    • Click on “Choose default apps by protocol” at the bottom of the page.

  4. Find the TEL Protocol:

    • Scroll through the list until you find TEL (this is the protocol used for phone dialing links).

  5. Set Your Preferred Dialer:

    • Click the current app listed next to TEL and choose your preferred dialer from the list.
