OneDrive - Managing files and space

If you are running low on OneDrive space there are a few things you can do to find what is taking space and free up space.
This is important because OneDrive is your backup for your files.  Without OneDrive all your files are at risk if your computer fails.
  1. Empty your recycle bin.
    1. Click the OneDrive icon on you system tray. 
    2. Click Recycle bin 
    3. This will open your OneDrive site in a browser.  Click Empty recycle bin from the top left. 
  2. Manage files - File what is taking space.
    1. Click the OneDrive icon on your system tray. 
    2. Click Settings (icon) and "Manage storage" 
    3. This will open your OneDrive in a browser and show you the "Site Settings > Storage Metrics" page.  From here you and see what is taking the most space and click into these directories to see more detailed views of your files.
